The conversations you have when the decision actually matters.

I work with founders, operators and senior leaders making complicated decisions inside real businesses.

Former Head of Sales at Remote Year, where I helped grow the company from $2M to $16M.

Who it’s for

You don’t need more advice. You need a better conversation.

The people I work with are already in it. They have a company, a team, a real seat, real revenue, real consequences.

Usually, there’s a decision on the table that doesn’t have an obvious right answer.

  1. 01

Do I keep investing in this business or admit I want something different?

  2. 02

Is this the right person to build with?

  3. 03

    Do I fire them?

  4. 04

Do we grow this, sell it, simplify it, or stop?

  5. 05

Do I actually want the next level I’ve been working toward?

  6. 06

Am I solving the wrong problem?

You’ve probably already thought about it from twelve different angles. You need someone who can listen closely, see what you’re missing, ask the harder question and stay in the conversation until something becomes clear.

What I do

I get in the room with you.

My work is part strategic thinking, part pattern recognition, part asking the question everyone else has managed to avoid.

Sometimes the problem is the business. Sometimes it’s the people. Sometimes the numbers say one thing and you want another.

I’m good at getting underneath the story quickly, separating what matters from what doesn’t, and helping smart people make decisions they can actually stand behind.

We sit down. We talk about the real thing. We do the work.

Proof

I know what it feels like when the decisions are real.

Before doing this work, I was Head of Sales at Remote Year, helping grow the company from $2M to $16M. Since then, I’ve spent years working directly with founders, executives and senior operators inside the decisions that shape companies and careers.

  • An SVP at a high-growth $20M ARR startup
  • The CEO of a venture-backed company
  • An SVP at one of the world’s largest PR firms
  • A Fortune 500 Sales Director
  • A Marketing Director at a global consultancy
  • Multiple six- and seven-figure founders

Today, my work happens primarily behind closed doors.

Private 1:1

Three months. Closed door. One conversation at a time.

This is for founders, operators and senior leaders with something consequential on the table and enough agency to do something with what we uncover.

You bring the context, politics, money, personalities, competing desires, inconvenient truths and the parts you’re not quite sure how to say out loud yet.

I bring an outside brain, strong judgment, good questions and a willingness to tell you what I see.

Then you decide what to do.

Rooms

Some decisions get better when the right people are around the table.

I host and facilitate small, high-trust rooms for founders and operators who want the conversations that rarely happen at traditional networking events.

No panels talking at you. No pitching around the table. No performative vulnerability.

A small group. A real question. People with enough experience to have useful opinions.

I also facilitate conversations for founder networks, leadership communities, membership organizations and private groups.

About

Emily Eliza Moyer

I’m a Chicago-based entrepreneur, former startup operator and advisor to founders and senior leaders.

I spent years building companies from the inside, including leading Sales at Remote Year during its growth from $2M to $16M, before moving into work that put me across the table from founders and executives making some of their hardest decisions.

I’m less interested in giving people answers than in having the kind of conversation that makes it difficult to keep avoiding their own.
